The Faculty of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems opens its first academic year on Friday, 25 September 2026, at 12:00.
Where and when
Auditorium, Politehnica University of Timisoara Library, 2B Vasile Parvan Blvd., Timisoara.
The opening takes place after the university ceremony at the Stiinta Stadium, so that students can attend both.
What happens at the opening
- an introduction to the faculty's leadership and its governing bodies
- a presentation of the study programmes and of how teaching is organised
- practical information about timetables, Campus Virtual, the registry and study contracts
- meeting the year tutors
A word for the first cohort
You are this faculty's first cohort. You are not stepping onto a well-worn path, but onto one you will shape together with us: the faculty's first projects, first teams and first results will carry your names.
Robotics and artificial intelligence are being built right now, and the difference between using them and understanding them is made in the years you are beginning.
