The foreign language group allocation for first-year students is published below, for each study programme.
How the allocation was made
Students were allocated according to the language they chose and, where the number of requests made it impossible to honour every choice, according to the admission average. There were a great many requests for English.
Please note that the English course is taught at an advanced level and the teaching staff set high expectations. German and French, by contrast, start from beginner level.
If you want to change your language
If you are not satisfied with your allocation, you may ask to change your foreign language. To do so, you need to find a fellow student willing to swap with you.
Both students must send an e-mail confirming that they agree to the swap, to oana-sorina.chirila@upt.ro.
Please do NOT send these requests to the teaching staff who run the foreign language courses.
The deadline for requesting a swap is 27 September 2026.
