ROBO-STEP: 50 prizes of 2,000 lei each for internship placements

The ROBO-STEP programme, run by Politehnica University of Timisoara, awards 50 prizes to students who have completed an internship placement and submitted their placement portfolio. The prizes total 100,000 lei, with 2,000 lei going to each student awarded one.

What ROBO-STEP is

ROBO-STEP, internship placements in mechatronics and robotics at Politehnica Timisoara, is a programme co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus, under the Education and Employment Programme. The project code is SMIS 302355.

The programme aims to increase student participation in work-based learning and to bring the academic and business worlds closer together.

  • 251 places available
  • 240 hours of placement for each participant
  • 1,440 lei guaranteed subsidy per participant
  • 50 prizes, totalling 100,000 lei

What taking part involves

  • technical training: Python, computer-aided design, industrial robots, programmable logic controllers
  • non-technical training and entrepreneurship workshops, with coaching sessions
  • the placement itself, of 240 hours
  • career counselling, professional guidance and employability analysis

Who can take part

Students enrolled on bachelor's, master's or doctoral programmes at any of the university's faculties, aged between 18 and 35 and resident in the West, North-West or South-West Oltenia regions.

Applications are taken in the order they are submitted, within the number of places available.
