Tutoring and guidance
Throughout their studies, students have support in settling into university life, in finding their way through their academic path, and in dealing with the situations that arise along the way.
Who can help you
Year tutors
Every year of study has a year tutor, a member of the faculty's teaching staff, who acts as the link between students, teaching staff and the faculty's leadership.
Tutors give guidance on how academic activities are organised and on university regulations and procedures, and can direct students to the faculty or university bodies that can help with particular situations.
Year representatives
Student representatives make communication between students and the faculty easier. They gather and pass on information of interest to their peers, raise problems common to the year, and help keep communication working with tutors, teaching staff and the faculty's leadership.
The Career Counselling and Guidance Centre
What it offers
Students can also use the services of the Career Counselling and Guidance Centre, which provides information, counselling and guidance throughout their studies.
Through its counselling services, students can get support in adapting to university life, in personal and professional development, in career guidance, and in identifying suitable directions for their further academic and professional path.
You do not have to handle every question that comes up on your own. Depending on the situation, you can turn to your year tutor, to your student representative, or to the university's counselling and guidance services.
