Scholarships
Students of Politehnica University of Timisoara can receive several categories of scholarship, awarded on the basis of academic and scientific results, social circumstances or involvement in extracurricular activities.
Results in study and research
These are for students with very good results in their studies or in research, and are funded from the state budget.

- 03Dual education scholarshipFor students enrolled on bachelor's programmes run in the dual system.
From the university's own funds
These reward outstanding performance and involvement.
They cover, among other things
- an annual average mark of 10
- distinctions at international olympiads
- sporting achievement
- outstanding bachelor's or master's theses
- participation in student competitions
- research work by master's students
- involvement in extracurricular activities for the university
Other categories
There are also scholarships aimed at countering social inequity, and scholarships for doctoral students, in the cases set out in the university's regulations.

The lists of students receiving scholarships are published on this page each semester, once they have been approved.
Tuition fees
Paying fees, study contracts, and requests for a refund or for payment in instalments.
Social support scholarships
These support students in vulnerable socio-economic circumstances. Subject to the conditions laid down, they are available to students on low incomes, orphans, students from single-parent families or care homes, and students with serious medical conditions.
Occasional social scholarships may also be awarded for particular personal or family circumstances.
