The university is making the last adjustments between institutional student addresses and its student records. The aim is for every student to have access to the student.upt.ro platform, and the accounts are due to be working in the course of next week.
When the accounts work
Full access is estimated for the second half of Tuesday, 6 October 2026. This is the university's estimate, not a fixed hour. If your account still does not work on Tuesday evening, write to us at ria@upt.ro, with your name and registration number, and we will take it further.
The institutional address has the form firstname.lastname@student.upt.ro. You use it to sign in to the student platform, which holds the study contracts and tuition payments, and to read the institutional mailbox.
It is worth checking now rather than on the day you need it. Certificates requested from the faculty website are sent exclusively to the @student.upt.ro address held in our records, no matter who fills in the form.
Choosing a sports discipline
Registration is done on student.upt.ro, so it depends on your institutional account. The Department of Physical Education and Sport had announced the opening for 28 September; the university now confirms that the choice can be made from Tuesday, 6 October 2026, at 20:00, once the accounts are working.
There are eight disciplines, across two sports bases:
Sports base 1
- fitness
- bodybuilding
- jogging
Sports base 2
- aerobic gymnastics
- small-pitch football
- 3x3 basketball
- swimming
Only students who can already swim may sign up for swimming, and only those with the basic technique may sign up for basketball: catching and passing the ball, shooting from two steps. To pass, you need seven practical lessons a semester, one every two weeks, and to take part in at least one inter-student competition from the department's calendar.
The full requirements, including the separate procedure for performance athletes, are on the department's page.
Students from outside the European Union and Romanians from the diaspora have their own steps for the enrolment file and for certificates: they are here.
