What the file contains

The basic file contains the same six documents at bachelor's and master's level. Only the qualification that opens it differs. On top of these, certain personal situations call for additional documents, and most of those also bring exemption from the registration fee.

The basic file

The documents required of every candidate

The same list at bachelor's and master's level. Where the form required differs between the two levels, the difference is stated beside the document.

One original only

All documents are uploaded as copies. The only one submitted in the original, when you confirm your place, is the qualification itself.

  • 01The qualificationA copy is uploaded. A candidate who has not yet received the diploma can upload the certificate of graduation issued by the school or faculty instead. This is the only document submitted in the original, when you confirm your place.
  • 02The transcript of recordsIssued by the institution attended. All the marks from the years of study must be filled in.
  • 03Identity cardThe copy must be clear and show both sides of the document.
  • 04Birth certificateUploaded scanned or photographed, like any of the other documents in the file.
  • 05Medical certificateAsk your family doctor for a certificate for university admission, confirming that your state of health allows you to undertake the studies. Chronic conditions must be noted on it.
  • 06Passport-style photographA digital photograph is uploaded when you apply. An admitted candidate also needs four printed photographs for the physical file.

An admitted candidate brings the faculty a physical file containing printed copies of these documents, together with the four photographs.

Uploading

The platform's formal requirements

A document rejected on a technicality costs time in exactly the period when deadlines are shortest. The requirements are few and can be checked before uploading.

01

Format

In colour, as PDF, JPG or PNG

Documents are uploaded in colour, not black and white. The formats accepted are PDF, JPG and PNG.

02

Completeness

Every page of every document

A document with several pages is uploaded in full, including the reverse and any additional sheets. A missing page makes the document unusable for the board.

03

The physical alternative

Going to an admission centre

A candidate who prefers the physical route can bring the original documents to an admission centre during the registration period. The university has centres in Timisoara and in six other cities in the west of the country.

The regulations

Reference documents

The list above is transcribed from the university's pages. The text that decides in case of doubt is the admission regulation approved by the Senate.

Admissions contact

Where to write about a particular situation with your file

A situation not covered by the categories above should be clarified before the session opens, not on the day you apply. Supporting documents are obtained from the institutions that issue them, and their procedures take time.

The order we suggest

The qualification and the medical certificate are the hardest to obtain. Ask for those first, and scan the rest in the meantime.

Submitting the file

Applications are made on the university's admission platform, the same one for all its faculties.
